What Sets Us Apart

Our founder started in Marbella in 2013 after almost 30 years in entertainment and hospitality.

The goal was to create a unique holiday experience with new technology to enhance user experience. We saw the problem with classic websites that just displayed dates for the property search on the homepage, yet none have a personalised touch nor provide some kind of valuable service to the customer.

Everybody is just listing the properties on the OTAs (such as airbnb or VRBO) but we do not consider those marketplaces, nor do we think of them as optimal booking engines. We do not agree with the business model they have created. Hence, the HEDO journey started and now we are ready to scale up. 

Maybe current business models were the ideal solution when they were created in the 90s but those are already in the past; if it won't be us, it will be someone else to take this industry to the next level because the OTAs are definitely inadequate for the holiday in villas.

The last 18 months have been used to develop our platform 1.0

It is far from perfect but we collected tons of feedback and data so that we have matured and ready for version 2.0. However, we understood that it is not enough to have a first-class custom proprietary marketplace.

By the way, we achieved an extraordinary record of almost 80% of booking directly on our platform, leaving only 20% to all the OTAs combined (Airbnb + VRBO + TripAdvisor etc); with higher customer satisfaction, lower rates and higher incomes for the agents and owners. A total WIN-WIN business case.

We understood the power of human nature and affinity so we  pushed our project beyond any boundaries
